Grossular garnet

Akhtaragda River Mouth, Vilyui River Basin, Mirninsky District, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Russia.

Yellow greenish well formed crystals of Grossular from this old Siberian area, famous for the Wiluite mineral species but also for beautiful olive color garnets; unfortunately this place provides no garnets since many years and crystals on matrix are seldom seen on the market.
